Drunk Driving Arrest - OWI DWI DUI Arrests

Drunk Driving Test Refusal

Note: If you refuse to submit to a breath or blood test after being arrested for OWI in Wisconsin, you have ten days, not counting Saturdays, Sundays, or legal holidays from the date in the upper right corner of the form (usually the date you were stopped, but sometimes the next day if you were stopped shortly before midnight) in which to demand a "refusal hearing." If you don't file the "refusal hearing demand" within this short time period, you'll lose your license for at least one year, and potentially as many as three years (depending on whether you've had drunk driving or refusal convictions in past years anywhere in the United States).

Free Initial Consultation

Call (608) 284-1200 Van Wagner & Wood for more information about saving your driver's license before it's too late.

Within 24 hours (48 hours if over the weekend) of receipt of your e-mail, an attorney will respond to your e-mail (or call you if you provide your telephone number and ask to be called) to examine the merits of your particular case. When they have sufficient information, they will give you a very honest straightforward opinion of the outcome you may expect and the strategy they recommend to challenge and perhaps prevent forthcoming charges against you. No criminal defense attorney can or should guarantee a particular outcome, but with Van Wagner & Wood you have the assurance of knowing that you were able to obtain the best result under the circumstances.
